Wrong line-up being promoted for 10 Shake tonight - there isn’t really a 30 minute HYBPA on 10 Shake with HYBPA on the main channel. It should be an double episode of The Office plus starting at 7.30pm. Social media team needs to pay more attention
I’ve been catching up on this show. It’s very much like previous series shot on the Gold Coast like H20:Just Add Water, Lightning Point and The Bureau of Magical Things.
The notable difference is they have added a number of characters who are American. So, one of the five main characters has an American accent. But her father is played by Aussie actor Craig Horner who has a very inconsistent American accent. Also a couple of supporting actors who are supposed to be Americans also have some questionable accents.
Then there’s the Anerican influence in storylines where they use American words or sayings instead of Australian ones. One episode is about playing Cricket which is good but in the same episode the island is being hit by a hurricane. In Australia they are cyclones because they spin in the other direction. If they can have a storyline about playing cricket, why can’t they also call it a cyclone?
South Park is back in the schedule from tomorrow night at 10:45pm and will have double episodes Monday-Friday.
It seems that 10 Shake has rights most seasons, but SBS still has 1, 8 and 21 and possibly more. I assume that will change in 2025 when all South Park content moves to Paramount+, and the show is taken off 10 Shake and SBS Viceland. Speaking of SBS, South Park will still air at 12:30-1:00am Sunday mornings on Viceland.
Is there issues with 10shake tonight? I set it to record Gogglebox UK and it was just a black screen and now its broadcasting channel 10 on the channel
I watched the HYBPA encore tonight with no problem in VIC.
Finished at around 8.35.
Was there maybe an issue with your recorder?
No because I left it on that channel and it suddenly changed back to 10shake programming without me touching a thing.
The screen went black with watermark for a few minutes after first episode of Just for Laughs. Second episode didn’t screen and was replaced by Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield. Checked again during Gogglebox and it had been replaced too.
I have noticed that on the 19th of August, 10 Shake are showing South Park episodes “Goobacks” and “Preschool” from season 8. It looks to be normal, but their is something interesting about Season 8 being aired.
The interesting thing is that SBS Viceland only aired them on the 31st of July, so the same episodes on two different networks not even three weeks apart. I clearly remember watching the former on SBS Viceland.
I wonder if this means there is no separate season deal for 10 and SBS with South Park, unlike other shows? The only difference would be that SBS wouldn’t be able to show Seasons 24 and 25. This could mean that Viceland and Shake could air the same episode of South Park on both channels, unless their is a rule that they cannot show South Park at the same time.
is Nick news still coming? I have been waiting for a listing for it like they do for Shake Takes. If anyone has seen it, when do you get to see it.
There’s new segments you can see during commercial breaks on the Nickelodeon channel or on their Instagram page

New kids tv show for 10 Shake, Ultimate Classroom. First I can see it in the guide, is 6:30pm Sunday 11th September.
Ultimate Classroom is an exciting new challenge-based series that takes classroom science, design, and engineering to the next level!
Eighteen STEM students are tested in a series of challenges such as flying drones and deciphering codes. Guiding them, is maths teacher extraordinaire Eddie Woo, gaming guru Steph Bendixsen, and specialists from the Australian Defence Force.
One team will become the 2022 Ultimate Classroom champions.
Coming soon to 10 Shake and 10 play on demand.
10 seem to be the only commercial network making kids TV.
On another Shake issue…I find the playout weird on this channel. The audio is inconsistent and it is never just equalised properly. Is this because it plays out over a web server instead of he traditional methods??
It’s great that 10 are still making kids TV. Lets just hope that Ultimate Classroom gets a good timeslot though and not buried in an unusual timeslot…
Nine’s got a few first-run productions on 9Go. Seven has jack-all.
Welcome To Ultimate Classroom, A Paramount ANZ Original Series.
Premieres Sunday, 11 September On 10 Shake And 10 Play.
Paramount Australia and New Zealand has partnered with the Australian Government and Defence Force Recruiting via UM Australia and Mediabrands Content Studio to create an exciting new brand funded television series - Ultimate Classroom.
This four-part series takes classroom science to the next level, and tests 18 of Australia’s best and brightest high-school STEM students like never before!
Harnessing their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths they will need to fly drones, build bridges, and decipher codes in order to become the 2022 Ultimate Classroom champion.
Guiding them will be maths teacher extraordinaire and WooTube creator Eddie Woo, TV presenter and gaming guru Stephanie Bendixsen, and the very best STEM specialists from the Australian Defence Force.
Brigadier Duncan Hayward, Director General Defence Force Recruiting, said: “Defence Force Recruiting are excited to partner with Paramount ANZ to produce the Ultimate Classroom TV Program.
“For DFR, this partnership aims to address misperceptions that the ADF is an employer of ‘brawn over brains’, holding back prospective candidates from considering a STEM career in the ADF. DFR’s partnership with the Ultimate Classroom will raise awareness of ADF STEM capability and the variety of roles available.”
Two years in the making, Ultimate Classroom is a Paramount ANZ Original Series created and produced by Paramount ANZ’s in-house creative and production team, Imagine.
Michael Stanford, Head of Imagine and National Creative Director, Paramount ANZ, said “Ultimate Classroom truly demonstrates the power of long form content to tell a story that informs, engages, entertains, and even challenges misperceptions. Teamwork is an overused word, but in this case, it couldn’t have been more accurate - not just for how well the students worked together but also the team at the DFR, Mediabrands Content Studio and Paramount ANZ who brought this program to life.
Emma Wood, Senior Client Director, UM added: “A campaign like this needed a different approach to engage our audience and allow us to showcase the range of opportunities on offer to work within a cutting-edge environment, using some of the world’s most sophisticated tech.
“Brand funded content offered the perfect solution: working in close collaboration with Paramount ANZ and Mediabrands Content Studio we were able to organically build the Australian Defence Force story into the fabric of the show, creating authentic long-form, bingeable content allowing our audience to discover something unexpected about the ADF and at the same time challenge misconceptions they may have about a possible career in the ADF.”
Ultimate Classroom. Premieres Sunday, 11 September At 6.30pm.
