Nickelodeon (formerly 10Shake)

Reminds me of GO! in the early days, always chopping and changing removing stuff adding stuff, changing timeslots etc.

Low ratings I assume.

don’t they always do this because of MTV event on Monday nights or is it just me.

Another thing they should air something like Sabrina, I know it does bad but still other than more Total Wipeout on Sundays and early evenings. As well as Teen Mom/Mum. Like is 3 episodes of Wipeout not enough on Sundays.

The Office.

The Office Relocates To 10 Shake.

Premieres Monday, 22 March At 7.30pm. On 10 Shake.

In news that’s bound to make Dunderheads everywhere rejoice, all your fave coworkers are set to procrastinate once more as The Office premieres with a double episode, on Monday, 22 March at 7.30pm on 10 Shake.

Despite wrapping the series in 2013, the hilarious prank wars, funny one liners and absolute ridiculousness of the goings-on at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company Inc. still have us coming back for more.

And running away from our responsibilities has never been so easy, especially with Michael Scott at the helm. Who could forget how Michael loves to wake up to the smell of bacon? And the fact that this led to him burning his foot on his George Foreman grill? Or the time Michael, so sure he’d nail that promotion to corporate, sold his condo on eBay?

Michael’s quirky ticks aside, LOL at Dwight’s erratic behaviour, Stanley’s sass, Andy’s obliviousness, and whatever it is that Creed does. But we know what we’re really here for. Jim and Pam. Find us a greater love story interwoven over 9 seasons. We’ll wait.

So grab some cake, kick back and enjoy revisiting the gang at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company Inc.

What channel did The Office air on while it was still new?

(Also that press release is actually pretty funny)

Ten throughout its initial release with most of the series airing in late prime-time around 10.30/11pm IIRC.

Good get. I’m sure I read somewhere that the office is one of the most streamed shows in Australia each year.

But more importantly, Could this be a sign of a change of direction for evening programming on 10shake?

10 aired it over summer one year, think it was 2009-2010, I remember watching it at the time. They had a decent summer line-up that summer.

Seems odd. Would fit 10 Peach a lot better. It will also be up against Friends and The Big Bang Theory on 10 Peach… aren’t they cannibalising their own network?

The Office has more of a niche following in Australia, whilst Friends and TBBT are more mainstream hits.

It’s on all 3 streaming services here too. Thought that was because it was popular?

I remember around 2015 for a few years you couldn’t find the show anywhere online except the UK one. I have a feeling the US aired on ABC Comedy /2 at some point .

Yeah, up until it closed.

They are pairing it up with The middle. So it’s basically 10 peach.

I’ve noticed that Shake has been airing Comedic Movies on Wednesday nights. They had “Fat Pizza” last week, “Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny” tonight, and “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion” next week.

Not sure how long these funny films will air though, but at least its some consistency in the short term.

Interesting transition for the watermark switching from 10 Shake to 10 play, I like it.

Wasn’t The Middle on Peach ? So it’s moved to Shake… interesting…

I think it’s a good idea.

They’ve had to move so shows over to give 10Shake some tent pole programming.

New Australian teen drama, to air on Shake. Premiering on Saturday, 29 May at 6pm, as a feature length episode.

Not sure if Saturdays at 6pm is the best slot. Is it more suited on a school night? Then again, not much is on in primetime for the teens, so may be good afterall. Time will tell.

I remember Channel 10 used to show Kids Dramas in the 4pm Timeslot on Fridays back in the 2000’s. As for this new Kids Drama this would be better suited on a 5pm or 5.30pm Timeslot during the Week.

That was the generally compulsory slot for “C” rated content back when there were strict quotas and no multi channels.

Apart from triple episodes on a Saturday night, I noticed they are also screening it in double episodes at 5am. A prime slot. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
