Not likely to be enough people watching a specificly Māori electorate debate unfortunately so live streamed in YouTube Facebook and Newshub.co.nz then gets replayed in full on the weekend following Saturdays and Sundays respectively for each debate.

Or atleast air it on the plus 1 channel. They said it would be streamed LIVE on the ThreeNow app but nothing.

Yeah I thought I saw the ThreeNow line thrown about maybe it couldn’t be done in the time given?
Delayed in terms of airing later the same night as the debate airs? I was just thinking they could give over an hour from the plus 1 channel so the debate could air LIVE on TV as well as the other online platforms.
Yeah they kept mentioning it would be LIVE on ThreeNow but it didn’t, the only thing uploaded is yesterday’s debate. So not sure if the App can actually air live content.
I think @theGradyConnell is right when he says
Tonight’s Facebook Live got 136 comments. That’s piss poor for a page with over 550k likes. And on youtube, 360 views so far. I think their strategy is right. they’re not a public broadcaster so airing Bondi Rescue on tv at the time makes far more sense.

Losing a couple hours on a plus 1 channel every 3 years is not going to cause Three to go broke.
