Does anyone know who made the Nine News theme? Seems really hard to find who did it
The original composition is from the film Cool Hand Luke made in 1967.

Here are some audio clips of that news them as used by TVQ 0 in 1975 before switching to Eyewitness News. Note extensive use of the term 0-10 network including â0-10 Network Newsâ - presume because the live reports from Sydney had 10 news sign offs.
The reports and promos are associated with the Dismissal of the Whitlam Govt and the Federal Election that followed.
I kept the Christmas ident in as they commonly replaced the standard idents at the time.
Sound quality is not optimum as they were recorded on cassette.
That news theme would have creeped me out if I was a kid in that era.
