Tuned into Prime’s shocking Winter Olympics coverage for 20 minutes this evening. It was successful in so far as it convinced me to pay the $25 for SkySport Now so I could watch some actual sport.

Yep, that’s exactly what they want, you to pay.
The same would have occurred in Australia if Foxtel had gained Network TEN. Using the FTA network to funnel people to pay, possibly with with sole FTA rights to AFL, NRL and Cricket etc, but in an abbreviated form. For full coverage, subscribe to Foxtel.

Am I the only one who finds it strange Tova went through that whole court case with Discovery, and yet Carly - who reads the news on her show, is still permitted by Discovery to present Prime News?
I dunno lol.
Am guessing Carly is a freelancer/contractor so may be able to do both.
Or she committed to these shifts months ago prior to joining Today.
