Business as usual for the start of the final News First, which will bring to an end nearly 26 years (give or take a few years between the end of the local newscasts and the beginning of Prime News) of news broadcasting on Prime/Sky Open.

I’m just paraphrasing but he was thankful for the incredible career that he had and the opportunity to work with some amazing people throughout the years. There was some vision during the close. I’ll be posting the video up soon.

Got a tear in my eye watching that. I remember Prime News as a kid and Eric was hosting back then. A fantastic newsreader and he comes across as such a lovely person. (Also his cats are called Denny and Alan which, if you’re a fellow Boston Legal fan, is the coolest thing ever)

No, his colleagues posted him walking out of the studio yesterday.
