News Corp has launched a National Cadet Editorial Program. This full page ad appeared in today’s Herald Sun.
News Corp will launch a new weekly TV guide, The Watchlist, in The Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Herald Sun, Sunday Mail Brisbane and Sunday Mail Adelaide tomorrow (August 3), coinciding with the Logie Awards.
It will replace the Binge Guide.
Carrie Bickmore is on the inaugural cover.
More than 60,000 copies will be distributed each round at games, local cafes, newsagents and metro stations across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
The first edition of wX hits stands today, coinciding with the season opener between Carlton and Collingwood at IKON Park, followed by the West Coast Eagles hosting Gold Coast SUNS in Perth.
Hopefully they’ll have some at North Sydney Oval for tomorrow night.

I don’t know exactly how I ended up on The Australian’s Media Diary email list (I am not a paid subscriber to any News Corp titles), but it does give me a chuckle.
This week’s top story was a bit of office gossip, for what reason is unclear. If “clown” is the biggest bait they could gain from whatever the story is, then I feel the rest of the article is not worth any time or $ to get past a paywall.
But this staggering piece of social commentary was really the biggest media story to warrant headlining the email bulletin? I guess the ABC hasn’t given them any fodder for rage bait this week.
