The first hour of News Breakfast was entirely a recap of the previous evening with no crosses. There was a prerecord with Antony Greene. The more normal setup started at 7am.

Fauziah Ibrahim is back hosting Weekend Breakfast with Johanna this weekend.

Really disappointed to hear this. It doesn’t matter that the election is over she still showed her political bias. How are we meant to take her seriously now in the future when interviewing politicians? This was a bad move. She should have been replaced.

Add to that she isn’t even that good at presenting in any way as it is. There are so many more competent people at the ABC who could easily fill the role and they haven’t been tarnished as a right wing nutbag.

Maybe it’s time to bring back Andrew and Miriam?

Oh wait never mind, Miriam’s voice is no and Andrew left …

how about Dan and Kathryn?

I think it would’ve been better for them to leave either John Barron or Jeremy Fernandez on Weekend Breakfast. They both did a better job than Fauziah ever did.

Fauziah could do with a spot on Sky After Dark.

I know it’s the Daily Mail but I’m pretty confident in saying that Fauziah is far from popular.

I must admit the pile on resulting from her initial suspension and her return over the weekend gives credence to her original lists. The thugs, trolls and shitheads really need to experience life outside their online echo chambers.

Did you even see her interview with Albo? Or are you stuck in your own echo chamber in that regard?

I saw it and believe I commented on it here. It was a poor interview. My comments are relating to her return to presenting and the subsequent pile on over the weekend. The rusted on Labor twitter types really don’t do the Labor cause a lot of good with their myopic contributions.

So now you’re making a rash assumption that all the people who objected to her return are “rusted on Labor types.” What absolute twaddle.

She’s a journalist and thus supposed to be politically impartial. She’s clearly demonstrated that she’s not. End of story.

Actually no I’m not. Seems I’ve touched a nerve, were you on one of her petty little lists?

Regardless of her political alliances she should be replaced anyway. Everyone who replaced her during her break was better with Johanna and she also seemed more comfortable.

Actually, you did. See, you think you know how I vote now. I was calling out someone who makes generalisations and assumptions as if he knows everything about everyone.

Political impartially aside for a minute, Fauziah was racially abused on social media during the election campaign.
I’m definitely not a fan of her presenting skills and her political views, but personally l believe the racism directed at her was one of the reasons she wasn’t dumped by the ABC.

The abuse on social media directed at female presenters (Leigh Sales,Lisa Millar, Fauziah) is absolutely disgusting when it gets to personal abuse), which has resulted in them deleting their twitter accounts.
