I saw the new promo tonight after Back Roads. It is much better than the last one, which was awfully cheesy.

I really dislike the current logo. After all this time it is still jarring to look at. The blue look really awful and out of place. Change it to yellow or orange. And I still don’t like the font for “Breakfast”. I feel like the old fonts everywhere looked better than the new ones.
I wish this endboard was used on all the News Breakfast promos. The current one used to promote the coming week is terrible!

It should just be [ABC logo] Breakfast, similarly to the ABC News logo. And used on weekday and weekend breakfast.

New graphics today, including a new backdrop.It looks a bit dark at the desk, but is nicer from the couch.
I think the lower thirds are too big, especially during the headline recap. It takes waayy too long to cycle through the weather on the flipper too. You could probably fit three locations on one.

ABC News breakfast has always been the poor cousin and not a favourite of Mediaspy users. Probably cos of the musical chairs of hosting in the last few years.
