The colours are good.
The font used in the headlines is clear and fresh.
The font used in the strap and flipper is still awful. I can’t read the flipper from the couch. They need to go back to the font they used up to three years ago.

New skyline graphic is a downgrade. A bright blue sky is too jarring in the morning. Not sure why you’d drop the well established sunrise graphics. Supers, etc also quite ugly and a downgrade also. The simple lighter blue colour of the master package was quite nice.
I agree. They need some different hues as well as the blue. Yellow, pink, orange. The blue sky on the left is way too dark for that time of day:
I appreciate that they tried to do a virtual set which adds some depth, but the orange pillars are very jarring and I don’t think they fit the design of the actual set.

Seems that pastel colours in the backdrop have gone.

One question I couldn’t stop asking myself now that the NC at-large has unveiled its set of graphics across the rest of the day:
Did they stop the effort halfway through?
If you look at all the graphics this morning, the live locator is NC. All full-screen quotes and supporting data is NC. The only things NB were split screens and person IDs.
Sunrise and Today are different, looks-wise, to other 7News and 9News programs. Why can’t the same be done here if there was already a separate L3 system in place?
Both programs use the main master news brand graphics just recoloured and with their own logos in fairness.

Unsure if the screens are just burnt out or if its the saturation of the graphics, but the skyline behind the desk is a weird darker contrast that doesn’t look good
I preferred the short lived 2021 graphics set, hadn’t noticed the new graphics but it looks like one of those mocks you see in movies
