Wasn’t it lovely to see Max Tillman able to stand up straight, for once? He’s obviously very tall, and usually seems to be crouching to stay in the field of view with shorter interviewees.
And sorry to see Luke Siddham Dundo vanish. Think he could have done well - reminded me of Tony Armstrong, without the cynicism.
And they seem hellbent to make sure no matter when you tune in, you’ll know about it.
It’s one of the two only ticker items after the conclusion of midnight bulletin. The other is “For latest news on Vic. fires and Cyclone Koji tune into your local ABC Radio”.
So ABC News couldn’t simulcast either ABC VIC Local Radio or ABC NQ Local Radio
They are both running national programming with only regular updates every hour.
So most of the content isn’t suitable.
I guess they only did it during Alfred because it affected a metro area.
Darwin was running local content (even if it was horrid) during Fita and they didn’t simulcast.
