Friday November 22
Emma Rebellato will be filling in for Rowland - no weather presented listed so far.
Given Emma is back to doing newsreading & filling in while Charles continues to does sport, I think we can all agree that he is at least the interim sport presenter until either someone else is appointed, or they just stick with him.

I mean, they’ve been using Emma over Stephanie for weather for sometime now - she only appears if Emma is already filling in for someone else, or Emma is away.

Wonder how the Exec Producer keeps his/her job with all of this random presenting?
And the ratings have been more than lacklustre for a long time now. Seems no one is accountable .
I guess like the presenters, the producers also take random days off, especially whenever management shows up for a check in

I don’t think the so called ‘musical chairs’ is as big a deal as people here think it is. They’ve done a decent job of having viewers get to know Emma, Catherine and even Steph. It’s not like when one of them step in that it’s a complete unknown that viewers are waking up to. Viewers want familiarity in the morning, and those who fill-in on NB are familiar enough to viewers to not have them reaching for the remote.

At an Upfronts? Never.
Not really the sort of thing you would announce at an event like this, would be huge news for ABC and the show and will be managed by PR etc.

There has been numerous news and current affairs presenter announcements today in both TV and radio.
They will want Michael to cover the inauguration. A bit of time yet I suspect.

Michael leaving is huge news, they wouldn’t bury that at an Upfronts event.
It is almost always done on-air, a time for the presenter to announce it, say thanks and for it to be promoted via PR etc etc.
Personally it seems obvious to me that any major presenting changes to News Breakfast would not have been announced today.
