i’m off to auckland on monday so i’ve been watching some kiwi tv though my VPN. caught HYBPA last night. i don’t know if it was a particularly funny episode or that was normal but it was a -great watch and perhaps a rare occasion where a remake is as good as the original

Seen the Sky Sport Now logo replace the Fanpass. Logo on my smart tv don’t like it much. But as for the new logo, hmmm certainly out of the 90’s but the y should curve into the k imo. Looks very odd.

is tv in nz better or worse then here in australia ?? imo fta here in australia isnt the best and is pretty stuffed up

As Prime becomes more sport focused I wonder if they have another half hour sport show in mind for 5-30, or produce their own news bulletin again…?

Great coverage on all platforms and personalities on air. This should also mark refresh of Sky logo, Prime, Prime News etc.

So what goes in the other 97% of the channel?

The new Sky logo’s look very aged. Even the promo shots for Sky Sport News look like they were taken in the 00s.

Anyone got a decent picture of the new logo?

This is a cap from the new logo promo on their Facebook page.

Issue with the word ‘sky’ is how do you make a logo for television that’s isnt over the top and remains fairly simple. Every sky logo for any tv channel in the world has never looked that good and trying to make your own is even harder. The UK sky logo is not bad but u can still tell there is a struggle to make something good out of a small word.

This kerning annoys me. Why the space between the ‘s’ and the ‘k’ while the ‘k’ and the ‘y’ are joined?

And they didn’t even celebrate or acknowledge their 21st birthday on Friday. Happy belated birthday Prime!lol

Sky Sport has relaunched at 6am this morning.

Comparison of the watermarks, about 6 minutes apart.

Why don’t they just have the watermark like the actual logo, not stacked? Looks chunky and intrusive.

6 minutes into Sky Sport News and excuse my ignorance but I don’t see the point. They’ve had two ‘stories’ which is just some highlight footage of two sports without context…

Here is a bit of a montage of it in action this morning. My Sky Sport recording messed up for the first fifteen minutes so I recorded the opening over Prime

Could someone let the AM show know this is what decent graphics look like!
