Sky has bought upcoming BBC documentary The Michael Jackson Story from distributor Fremantle.
Ugh
You mean the guy still hasnât found his real dad?
On a serious note, this is very tacky.
Pure desperation from both parties here.
This campaign from OneNZ is approaching its third year and man have they dragged it out with very little progression in the story. Very different approach to story arc adverts from years past. Not to sure people care about the whole âJadeâ story now, the ads just fade into the background now after being repeated over and over for the past two years.
Yep. Itâs gone on way too long. Itâs no Danny and Tessa.
Threeâs playout was a bit shocking last night.
The now, next, later screen was partly blank, same promos repeating back to back, and the Rush broadcasting standards screen was used instead of Threeâs.
Also seeing some Three promos air on Bravo, usually its just Bravo stuff so assuming this is an error too. Canât imagine NBCU would be too thrilled about that.
We really need that playout change⌠despite itâs still WBD controlled overseas and Sky has owned Three/Rush/Eden etc. since August 2025.
Wouldnât surprise me if WBD NZ had to pay a nice wee price to what ever part of the wider business provides playout services when they axed the local team and for a specific length of time which Sky needs to honour.
I know its early days but Sky ownership hasnât really changed much for Three so far, still the limping along schedule of programmes.
Iâm hearing Commonwealth Games is a pivot point with Ryan Bridge Today starting straight after (at this stage), whether much else changes remains to be seen.
And speaking of the One NZ campaign, the continuing part of the story drops today.
Shown at 6:30 on Three.
Intro: âThree is proud to present the next chapterâ or to that extent.
Incredible nonsense.
Last night on TVNZ1 was the first ad break on the 6pm news lol.
Blue Murder Motel has been renewed for a second season.
Millionare Hot Seat Australia premieres Monday April 27th at 7pm on Three and ThreeNow.
Itâs also the new 7pm fill in replacement airing weekdays.
Thatâs more than two months after 10âs premiere.
Hopefully Three has enough new episodes to air so it doesnât need to rely on repeats later this year.
Season two of The Floor Australia premieres on Three on Sunday, April 26 at 7.30pm, continuing on Mondays in the same timeslot. Each episode will be shown one week after Australia.
It was filmed in the Netherlands last year and will be again be hosted by actor Rodger Corser.
