Fellow Kiwi Jaedyn Randell reached The Voice Australia grand final last year, but lost to Reuben De Melo. Interesting to see if Cassie can become the first NZ contestant to take out the title. (Stan Walker won Australian Idol in 2009)
TVNZ 2 may need to air multiple episodes of The Voice Australia per week, so it can finish before the end of 2025, given the late start date.

Season 7 of Love Island Australia will stream on TVNZ+ from next Tuesday, October 28, with each episode available the night after its Australian broadcast.
UPDATE 23/10: Love Island Australia season 7 will also have its FTA premiere on TVNZ Duke on Sunday, November 2, at 10pm.

Finally, Sky Sport will get its 4K UHD treatment throughout the summer.
The Sky Sport 1 channel will be converted into 4K UHD; it will start when the Ashes begin in November.
Viewers can experience the 4K SS1 channel on the new Sky Box, Sky Pod and Sky Sport Now.

Sky NZ has won rights to the Summer and Winter Olympics until 2032; Three will play a part as FTA broadcaster from 2028.

Can’t believe TVNZ let Brisbane 2032 slip away. It would of been the closest Olympics since Sydney 2000.

The new season has just started on Wednesday here in NZ; with episodes currently airing double each week for now. Schedule may subject to change but the Final is likely to air around December.
And NZ’s own Cassie Henderson, who was a quarter finalist on the X Factor NZ back in 2013, is in the Voice Australia grand final which set to air Sunday night on Channel 7.
Unfortunately, Kiwi viewers would have to wait until at least late November-early December for the Final to air in New Zealand, which will lead some spoilers. But we wish her the best for Sunday’s final.

The running of the 2025 Lexus Melbourne Cup is set to air at 5:00pm NZDT on TVNZ1/TVNZ+, Trackside 1/2 and Trackside Premier.
TVNZ is expected to take Trackside Premier feed, coverage starts 4:30pm NZDT.

The telemovies included Siege and Safe House, both earning nominations for Best Drama at the 2012 New Zealand Screen Writers Awards.
Siege went on to win Best Drama at the New Zealand Television Awards and was also voted People’s Choice for Best on The Box.

Three will be having a double bill of The Inspired Unemployed comedy group on Thursday nights from November 20. 6-part travel show The List airs at 7.30pm.
It will be followed by the second season of The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers at 8.25pm.

I wonder with the cricket going back to Sky if Scott Stevenson would go back, he did S12 matches on Sky before the cricket left Sky.

: Sky channel changes to come by start of December.
As you would probably know, Paramount Skydance channels (Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Comedy Central, MTV Hits, MTV 80s) and WBD’s Cartoon Network will shut down December 2nd.
The new channels, Sky Comedy will replace Comedy Central and Sky Kids will replace Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Cartoon Network.
Sky Comedy will retain most of Comedy Central programming, and will also air the final season of Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Sky Kids will do so the same for Nickelodeon. Sky Kids will also have locally commissioned kids shows in the mix.
And also, Juice TV is making a comeback to satellite television. After a soft launch online, from simulcasting on Channel 200 and having it’s own dedicated channel on Freeview, Juice will replace the MTV music channels. The Main Juice feed will feature contemporary and timeless music hits across every genre, with 40% New Zealand content and a new channel J2 will focus on classic hits with modern twists.

Sky Kids definitely seems like it’s taking a page from the 10 Nickelodeon channel, with the preschool stuff during the morning and other Nick shows afterwards. Nice to see the classic stuff back too.
I’m really looking forward to the relaunched Juice channels though, even if it’ll most likely be just automated blocks like it already is on CH200.
