What’s wrong with UK celebrity Gladiators in New Zealand did the Kiwis watch the last year’s awful repetitive no audience Australian version?

Is the budget over the ditch really that bad that they’re showing a British celebrity game show, full of people I’m not sure anyone on this side of the world would know, as their Sunday primetime lead-off?

Season 4 of Taskmaster Australia premieres on TVNZ 2 on Wednesday, October 1, at 9pm. For this season, some tasks were filmed at Sydney’s Cockatoo Island rather than the Retreat in NZ. Award-winning TV and stage actress Lisa McCune (currently starring in the Melbourne production of 39 Steps) is a contestant.


Season 11 of Grand Designs Australia starts Thursday, October 2 at 8.30pm on TVNZ 1. It has ten episodes with Anthony Burke returning as host.

Musical comedy Happiness, starring Rebecca Gibney and Harry McNaughton, will be shown in Australia on HBO Max on November 4. The 6-part first season premiered on Three in April and the series has been renewed for a second season.

3-part motorsport documentary Dark Horse: Erebus Motorsport, Out of the Shadows premieres on Sky Sport 3 next Monday (October 6) at 6pm, ahead of Bathurst 1000.

The Graham Norton Show which moved from Three, will start its run on TVNZ2 tonight at 7:30pm. Also streaming on TVNZ+.

Season 33 will kick off tonight, a week after UK transmission. Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Matthew McConaughey and James Norton join as guests, and RAYE as musical guest.

Taylor Swift, promoting her new album The Life of a Showgirl which released today, will be on the sofa on next week’s episode here in NZ.

Some of the content only just aired on Bravo via Three too.

But with that being said i’m pretty sure that Bravo NZ isn’t owned by Three anymore, it’s ran by NBCU, it’s just using there VOD and broadcasting systems.
