Are the live draws returning under Red or are they still going to be done off air?

@LiamP It’s up to the team from Lotto New Zealand as the draws are currently conducted off air under scrutiny from the Audit Office. The live Lotto draws, however, will return as soon as the Covid-19 restrictions are loosened. That’s when!

The BBC went to air with its winter imagery for Xmas season, then TVNZ followed. I never said they copied each other, maybe the wrong word used and misinterpreted by folks here.

You said copy of the bbc look… which implies tvnz copied their imagery… believe it or not the bbc probably wasn’t the first in the world to go live with Christmas branding either so I guess everyone’s “copying” everyone?

I am extremely late as in like four months late, but I absolutely love the Te Ao branding, definitely one of the best in the country imo.

The two drama series that will receive funding are both 6-part series: Far North, and The Gone.

TBI reports that TVNZ has taken Great Barrier Reef: The Next Generation from Northern Pictures, while Sky New Zealand has bought Atlantic Productions’ Attenborough’s Global Adventure, both from distributor ITV Studios. Great Barrier Reef: The Next Generation aired on the ABC in Australia earlier this year.

Hogwarts Tournament of Houses debuts on TVNZ2 tonight at 7.30pm. NZ is one of few countries in the world where the show gets a FTA screening.
It will be available on Foxtel’s streaming service Binge in Australia on January 15 next year.

‘The Chase Bloopers’, I realise it’s supposedly the summer schedule and replacing Sunday but good grief…

The power of that show! There are so many UK game shows littering the schedule across the year now.

Basically just UK shows

As @Reece mentioned, it’s a juggernaut. Hence why they labelled The Larkins on air recently as ‘Bradley Walsh’s The Larkins’. Anything with that show works.

It’s getting it’s balls handed to it by Tipping Point right now and paired with Pointless on Nine, across the ditch

Always weird the differences between Australia and NZ…particularly because the Australian version of The Chase has bombed across 3 different channels here so it’s not necessarily the format but the hosts and Chasers which have been the reason for success in NZ.
