My wife listens to magic in the car so by default i guess i do
They always seem up beat and like they genuinely enjoy the playlist
I know its probably all pre recorded anyway like most of the others

I think magic did try playing the 50s ages ago but maybe the playlist was limited so they stick to 70s and 60s

I did hear that Magic dropped the 50s stuff as (and this will sound terrible) the audience for that type of music is slowly dying off, whereas there’s still quite a lot for the 60s and 70s stuff.
Also saw this today - I thought her and Brad were leaving as part of a shakeup of the shows? This implies she chose to resign herself to look after her kids instead:
If what I’ve heard is right - they were planning to discontinue the current drive show and look to utilise Laura on a new drive show but that didn’t work once she resigned.
SENZ has been off air for hours. With loop tape saying something about you’re now to connected to SEN Melbourne or similar.

Sadly, you’re probably right
When coast first started it focused on a 1950s playlist then morphed into a 70s station with 80s thrown in magic tried to plug the 50s but following a similar trend to coast

I would guess Nickson is leaving. Heard somewhere that he signed on for 2 years after leaving Mai and his contract would be coming up at the end of this year
I think your right, i think nickson will be having a baby. He talked about it last year a few times and his wife also just left MW, and he has been at the hospital on his insta story a few time.
