Network Ten and Paramount+ Football coverage

I will be watching the A-League grand final even though my AFL team Hawthorn is facing Gold Coast in Darwin at the same time (that match is on Seven).

90% of Melbourne would think Western United is a Sydney based team

Why would they think that? Does only Sydney have a West?

Some big digital billboards around Brisbane promoting this too, wishing the Soceroos luck and promoting the start time for coverage.

Interestingly also has the 10 play on demand logo, which rarely gets used in digital advertising.

I guess given the time they are saying that you can just watch it later should you not want to wake up then.

The other semi-final is between Uzbekistan and Japan (kick off 9pm local time Wednesday) which will also be streamed live on P+.

Into extra time for this crucial match. 10 will get a small early morning bounce for this thriller.

Edit: went to penalties. Was an absolute thriller.

SBS will be ecstatic with this. Huge ratings for the World Cup to have an Australian campaign.

10 will get some solid ratings this morning

Especially because 2 of Australia’s 3 group games are at decent times (the opener against France on November 23rd will kick-off at 6am AEDT while the 2nd game against Tunisia on November 26th is a Saturday 9pm AEDT KO).

Think they’re AEDT times rather than AEST but either way are fantastic timeslots for SBS and Australians generally.

The other match v Denmark is a 1am AEST/ 2am AEDT KO.

So wil Ten. Not making the World Cup would have just about destroyed the sport. This will get a lot of casuals back into supporting the A-League.
