Yeah, from Thursday thereâll be announcements (all contracts will be expired by then). Itâll be good to see who they bring to their football coverage. Simon Hill will be joining.

If they put a decent EP on as head of football coverage theyâll do a decent job like they did in the AFL and Cricket years.

perhaps the toughest draw the socceroos could have got, including japan, saudi arabia and chinaâŚwith that amount of difficulty i wouldnt rule out the socceroos finishing 3rd in the group and having to go through the asian 5th place playoff over 1 leg (perhaps v iraq or uae) and then vs south america 5thâŚorâŚconcacaf 4thâŚor oceania 1st playoff over 2 legs route one last time before the playoff format changes for 2026
right now i could see the other 3 inter confederation playoff nations for the playoffs in june 2022 being colombia (or uruguay), honduras (or panama), nz

Since ViacomCBSâ deal with Football Australia doesnât start until August 1, Japan v Australia should be on Fox Sports and ABC.
