Some promotion by âThe Weekly Football Wrapâ (on SBS Viceland), while discussing the A-League. The watermark at the bottom of the screen acknowledging 10 and Paramount+ are the official broadcasters of the A-League Men.
Licencing agreement would mean this promotion in exchange for use of un-watermarked footage. (Itâs actually wrong, Men isnât plural in the league name).

Virtual advertising on the pitch during Cahill XI v Ronaldinho XI (taken from 10 Football YouTube channel)
(The centre circle logo is the new BYD Shark 6 ute)
The NRL have been doing the virtual advertising for a while now (on Channel Nine), so iâm mostly used to it. But the centre advertisement last night (for BYD Shark) is an eyesore. And a little distracting to watch last night.
The difference though is that the NRLâs virtual advertising replaced painted ads on the ground. There has never been advertising on the actual field of play in soccer.
