Network Ten and Paramount+ Football coverage

Agree, getting the lighting sorted would make such a difference.

I saw several people note on 10’s social posts promoting the new show say it was hard to find on the site as it was in the “Home of Australian Football” tile in the sport section.

Seems they’ve listened and given the show it’s own tile under shows.

Less a preview and more a clip of the title card

Noticed that The Weekly Kickoff was not available to stream on 10Play on Saturday moring, seems very strange.

That Amazing Race watermark without the 10 next to it pains me.
Does nobody check these things?

Jeez this looks good, the whole setup looks so much better when they use that larger screen in the middle.

Notably last night they called both games from the ground. Robbie Thompson and Daniel McBreen in Newcastle and Simon Hill and Andy Harper from CommBank.

I thought the flow of the two games worked well with both pre and post game shows from the studio with Football tonight linking the two. Seems like they’ve put a decent effort in this year.

Of course no one is expecting it to rate but the coverage was very good across the board.

They also had a short Saturday edition of The Weekly Kick-Off which I believe was shown on the main channel as part of the MotoGP coverage.

Seems like a bit more effort from the network this year.

Good to see 10 really going into the coverage this year - maybe trying to show other sports they can host sport well on their networks?

Also echoing what others have said - great to see 10 actually promoting the A-League coverage, and within other sporting coverage too.

Glad the transition between both games were smooth last night too.

The “primetime game” did scrape into the Top 30 in the ratings last night, which is great to see. Not expecting many more games to do this though. But it’s a start. In the 16-39 demos in the ratings, it did rank better, so we might see numbers in that demo more frequently that that total numbers.

###Brazil vs. Australia. Ronaldinho vs. Cahill. Legends vs. Legends.

Joga Bonito Tour. Friday, 1 November. Live And Exclusive On 10, 10 Bold And 10 Play.

Football fans, brace yourselves for celebration of football that unites past and present heroes. The game promises goals, magic, and probably a few cheeky no-look passes from the Samba King himself.

The clash will be broadcast live and free from 7.30pm AEDT on 10, 10 Bold and 10 Play. (See below for state specific times and channels)

Cahill’s squad boasts over 450 Matildas and Socceroos caps combined. This is more than just a match; it’s a reunion of Australia’s footballing elite, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
