All 8 seasons of Mom are now on Netflix.
Netflix will increase the price of its Australian subscriptions from today.
The American streaming service will jack up the fees on its standard and premium plans by up to $3 a month.
The price for the standard plan changes from $15.99 a month to $16.99 a month. Customers on the standard plan were already slugged with an increase in late 2020.
The price for the premium plan will go up from $19.99 to $22.99 a month. The premium plan was most recently increased two years earlier.
The basic plan remains at $10.99 a month.
Netflixās changes will be rolled out from November 11 for new customers but it wonāt apply to existing members for at least another week, kicking in at their next billing date after November 18. Netflix said it will give members 30 days notice by email and notification.
Amazon still cost me under $5 a month on the yearly option.
I canāt recommend many āNetflix made moviesā, but Red Notice is very good. One of the best movies thatās come out streaming service.
Itās not a Netflix film. They bought the distribution rights from Universal.
Itās actually in the cinemas too right now.
That explains the better quality.
Absolutely.
I thought it was too good for a Netflix film so I looked it up and confirmed my suspicion that it actually wasnāt.
So wait you didnāt think Love Hard was quality
What ever you do donāt watch āFather Christmas Is Backā
Thought I would give it a go as there were some well known actors staring in it, but it was bloody terrible. Easily one of the worst films Iāve seen.
There are a few of them on Netflix. I feel the quality of shows and movies has dropped over the last few years.
Why not?
Pure crap!
Iām getting a bit over Netflix constant price hikes. When you look at other services like Disney + and Stan and the quality they have with a decent price point
Netflix I have to say is the least watched in my house throughout the year. There will be a peak where they release new seasons of shows etc that we watch, but a lot of the time thereās nothing on there of interest to us and we are bored of it
Iām finding that apart from a number of key shows, the quality of a lot of their original content leaves quite a bit to be desired. Just not as entertaining and triggering as much watercooler chat as they used to be. Stan and Disney+ are much more superior generally.
Netflix needs to get a move along in this market and price hikes certainly isnāt the way to go.
Netflix has quite clearly gone for the quantity over quality model since they came under pressure to mostly have a back catalogue of original content, although it seems like theyāve realised that this isnāt sustainable considering how much money they paid for the global streaming rights for Seinfeldā¦
