Sony Sells Spider-Verse Creators’ New Movie Direct to Netflix – No More Cinema Release

Netflix has bought the new animated film from “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” producers, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, from Sony in a move that confirms that it will no longer get a cinematic release. Sony Pictures Animation (SPA) were previously set to release ‘Connected’ in the cinemas back in September 2020 but now it will get an exclusive small screen debut and it is back with its original title: “The Mitchells Vs. The Machines”.

Same here. I have enjoy all other shonda rhimes shows but this one I just couldn’t get into. I might try again sometime.

Some viewers of the Shondaland drama series have taken to Twitter to point out that the show features a bit of a visual blunder in the opening scenes of its first episode, as in some shots you can clearly see painted yellow lines running along the roadsides of Bath’s Royal Crescent, as horse-drawn carriages travel down them.

(Yellow lines were introduced in Britain in 1950s to restrict parking)

I don’t see how it’s a “money saving” tactic. Just because the house was used in a previous series, doesn’t make it any cheaper to hire. Like the article says, there are only so many grand estates that they can use for filming movies and TV shows.
