I saw a article by Scott Major yesterday suggesting if any TV Network or Company brings Neighbours back again they should focus on the Hume Family which a lot of the early years Characters came from but the last 15 or 20 years not many Characters.Am I dreaming I saw this Post from Mr Major or not it was on a Facebook Page but now I can’t find it?

The original families were Ramsays and the Robinsons with Des Clarke (played by Paul Keane) being another Character. There were the Martin family and later the Willis family.
Other notable characters were Mrs Mangel and Mike Young.
Maybe the writer meant the Ramsay family or the Mangel family (after all there was Joe Mangel as well)

I think Scott Major means the Ramsay Family but the Hume Family has connections with them but no Characters ever on Screen?
Any chance he was misquoted? Maybe meant Home family? As mentioned above meaning the Ramsays, or whoever wrote it got a spell check error?
Looks like last nights episode was the final we see of Eirini Rising and the residents.
The Neighbours FB page just posted a behind the scenes video of filming the final scene.

Poo Poo Shit why do these sites put this stuff on Neighbours and Home and Away Facebook Fan pages?
If it was there would be more headline and exclusives through Tvtonight etc. I can’t imagine if it comes back in whatever form, now wouldnt be announced until the last episode of this current era.
Id say Jason has ideas, all he (fremantle) needs is money and a backer, so unless that happens its full steam ahead for ending 2.0 (3.0)
I don’t see ot coming back a multi episode weekly soap.
After a bit of a break, they may do a weekly episodic reboot like Dallas or Melrose Place. Or they might do a remake of the original characters like Wentworth did with Prisoner.
Speaking of which, I think they could do a remake of Sons and Daughters as a miniseries or limited episode series. The twins separated at birth meeting up years later was an interesting premise that could be great if done well.

Neighbours is really great at the moment and some of the characters introduced recently have been fantastic additions. I just wish the show was going longer so they could develop these characters.

I haven’t been happy with Neighbours in recent weeks especially with the way they have ruined the Varga-Murphys with Remi’s selective amnesia and then the Rodwells with the affair between Andrew and Holly. But following the revelation of the affair, today was one of the best episodes in a long time with some brilliant acting from the main players. 
I was just coming to say, today’s episode was very good.
I’m so sad the show is coming to an end

Yesterday’s episode was fantastic. I’ve watched it three times because it was so good.
We all know that Lucinda (Holly) can do well in a big storyline but I didn’t expect all the others to be so good, with not an iota of the cliche ‘soapy style’ of acting. Emerald (Sadie) and Candice (Wendy) blew me away.
The Varga-Murphys were the best thing that came out of the reboot. I think (hope) it will all resolve before the show ends. As long as Nicolette keeps away.

And even the way Susan was so subdued and barely spoke. Her looks/glares at the parties involved and presence on screen said it all.

Haha not sure why Karl is having a go at Andrew his daughter is the result of an affair he had with Izzie. Love the fact that Andrew knew about his affairs haha but how the bell did he know about it?

Incorrect. Karl and Susan had split up before he started seeing Izzy. Later, when Karl was thinking of leaving Izzy, she took advantage of him when he was drunk and fell pregnant. Then Karl went back to Susan and Izzy had Holly.
I thought it went back to Karl cheating with Sarah but hey Izzy would work but Karl face was priceless.
