Neighbours

If they get reasonable rating over say the next 3 months, I wonder if they will expand it back into 5 episodes per week or whether the 4 episodes per week will remain but air Neighbours all year round including over Christmas and New Year periods

I watched the episode out of curiosity via 10play this morning.
The perfect finale has been completely ruined now.
I don’t think I will bother watching any further.

JJ, a new character, picked up something gold when he got out of a car on Ramsay Street. What was it he picked up?

I assumed it was a leftover gold glitter piece from the street party (aka Neighbours Finale), that has magically remained on the street tbe entire time. Lol

i hope they put in a complaint to Erinsborough council for not cleaning the streets for two years :boom:

I guess we should be grateful it didn’t wash down the drain into the ocean…but gee, stretching it a bit aren’t they??

The whole show is a bit of a stretch. Every man and his dog just walking on in to a rented ‘Airbnb’ to say ‘hey there and hello’!

Never seen Neighbours before? This has been the case in Ramsay St since the beginning.

Just goes to prove that plastic confetti and glitter doesn’t break down for years. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well no. Airbnb’s weren’t around when it started. And it’s 2023.

Thats the point I’m making.

I’ll definitely keep watching but so far I’m not understanding the Terese and Toadie storyline at all. Feels all too weird that they’re together.

A bit odd there are two different title sequences, especially running the same time.

Really though a peak of the titles was the only thing worth tuning into episode 2 from. Felt the opener was very poor - felt so insincere and as if the core four were being held hostage. The sets felt like sets and the twist just shit all over the finale.

I believe the plan is that the show will do some flashback moments to give viewers context as to how that union came about in the two years we skipped.

I’m giving it the week. After the second episode, I still don’t buy that two marriages were off and two people fell in love and married within one year (that’s the storyline even with the time jump). They are already foreshadowing the temptation of a return back to Paul. What’s the point?

I like the fan theory that we are watching from Harold’s perspective, hence the confusion! :joy:

So the wedding we saw in the finale has been retconned?
