Neighbours

I think moves like that are a bad thing though. Trialling different programming for a few months can be dangerous. Viewers might move on to other programs and form new viewing habits. The Project will have to adapt how it runs to suit different timeslots etc.

That’s very late for a high profile drama like Neighbours. A lot of their previous audience at 6.30pm on Peach might not want to watch it that late. If the show does move to 9.30pm then you’d wonder how much the drama would intensify and if they’d have the ability to show more crime storylines etc.

Where would you like to see it?

If its twice a week, why not build it in the 8.30/8.40 slot on Wednesdays and Thursdays?
That gives 10 stable 8.30 programming throughout most of the year with HYBPA and Cheap Seats too.

Exactly what I’ve been saying for 12 months should happen to Home and Away.

10 generally does OK at 8.40 (with Gogglebox too) - arguably it could slot in better at 7.30 on Wed/Thu given how most their reality franchies now run Sun-Tue. Only issue is a clash with Home and Away on the Thursday, but as they don’t mind the reality shows clashing that sholdn’t be a problem.

Could be wrong but didn’t they move Googlebox to 7.30?

Maybe they did. What’s the situation on Fridays next year - haven’t they axed The Living Room?

For its last two weeks of the latest season because The Real Love Boat was sinking.

Again, you sound surprised that a Network would do this, when in fact, all of them have in the past… This wouldn’t be the first for a network to change its schedule dramatically and test things out… see Neighbours original move for the main channel in 2011 to a digital 11 and extending the news from 6-7pm, dumping the nation’s longest-running drama and the cult classic, The Simpsons…

Former Neighbours star Scott McGregor has been charged over an alleged sexual assault.

The thing i’m more interested in is the prospect of the backlog of episodes going up on streaming rather than the revival itself. I think the sendoff they gave the show was very good so I don’t know how they will go about continuing the show after that even if there is a 12-month time jump.

I was wondering why Mark Brennan didn’t make an appearance in the series finale, I guess this is the reason.

No. It only happened last weekend. But there was that glassing incident a few years back. I’ve heard he’s not a very nice person. Up himself

He is married with kids, so i think his wife would disagree with such a blanket statement.

Mark Brennan was such a stickle in the mud, very judgemental. Never could warm to him.

He was charged this week but it allegedly happened in February.

McGregor, who played police detective Mark Brennan on Ramsay Street for a decade, was charged with one count of sexual assault last week, the Herald Sun reported.
The alleged incident is claimed to have taken place at Hotel Esplanade in St Kilda at about 8pm on February 20.

I wonder how many of the cast will agree to return.
