I wonder if this is partly live?
Surprised WIN allowed this. Other markets don’t have this.

Did they actually make her say that??
If it’s actually local, you don’t need to parade the fact that it’s local ![]()
The bulletin feels very fast-paced. Almost as if they are trying to squeeze in as much as they can into the half hour
It’s a pretty good bulletin so far. Interesting to see all of the local stories grouped together like this.
If they keep up this level of quality and resourcing, it will actually be a great watch. And of course, they should put the bulletin on streaming (9Now?) so people who aren’t home at 5:30 can watch it later.
Probably trying to pump out as much local content into the bulletin as possible for the first half-hour broadcast
That also had national and international items - not just purely 30 minutes of local news like 7 regional does, which is what you suggested
Northern Rivers bulletin stories from before first break.
The second segment was identical to Newcastle leading into sport.
I’ve actually been surprised by the overall quality of it so far; it’s better than the WIN News-branded bulletins! Would be great if the other ones were produced to the same standard.
The Facebook page has a 9News video on One Nation polling and a Newcastle Knights membership post…
Sports report - first 3 stories were across the region. Then they diverged.
Newcastle
Northern Rivers
Example NBN News Began at 5.30pm Today Before 9News Sydney at 6pm Excpet Gold Coast Wich Has 9News Queensland With Melissa and Joel
Not For Viewers in Gold Coast Wich has Queensland News With Joel Dry
It’s virtually the opposite of WIN usually does, where they only show Nine News updates in the afternoon, whereas NBN didn’t show any of those.
It appears they are following the same format as before:
9 News update and promo just aired at 7.58pm.
I wonder if they’ll be an nbn local news update later tonight.
The local windows aren’t being updated on the website anymore:
I thought the new owners said they are expanding digital services? But in what way?
By having a WIN product on 9Now
Scratch that NBN is no longer on 9Now as far as I can tell
Maybe the NBN website? Articles are still being published as far as I can see
