NBN News on 9Now must be past its beta testing.
NBN if you are reading this, sometimes when I open the app on the iPhone and it’s sitting in the background, it loads the Perth or Sydney news and I have to close the app completely and reload it and I then get Newcastle

It is, but only the Newcastle and Northern Rivers bulletins.
Why they can’t seem to figure out the remaining four bulletins is a mystery…

They’re not. There is a folder for them but no bulletins have ever been uploaded.

And there are only three others now, North West, Mid North Coast and Central Coast, all their lowest rating ones. I’m guessing at this point they don’t see the investment in streaming capacity as worthwhile based on that.

Great performance in Newcastle (and NNSW overall due to the Newcastle result), but seems like Northern Rivers weeknights has gone backwards, there was a time when they were leading Prime 7 News there too.

They didn’t really even need to put “NBN Repprter” in the super anyway since there is no NBN News mic flag.
I also think it’s interesting how Nine are more willing to recognise and credit the NBN (News) brand than the other way around.
It really should say 9NBN, not just NBN too.

I noticed last night on the rare occasion that I chose to watch the news that NBN News led with the Democratic National Convention rather than the Denman Earthquake. 9 News Sydney led with the earthquake.
