These look like fake channels made up for a Netflix disaster movie starring The Rock.
Yikes. Maybe spend some more time consuming business news.
Yikes?
I wasnât aware of this connection myself either, itâs no real biggie.
Though I do feel the bull has potential of being a recognisable brand element if they were to flesh it out correctly.
No, heâd call it Trump News, Official American News, The Best News, Vremya, something along those lines.
Do a deal with the publishers of USA Today and grab it before he does.
Also, whatâs MSNBCNOWWTFITS? Sounds like you either had a stroke or fell asleep on the keyboard? ![]()
Itâs just MSNBC NOW WTF IS THIS S⌠you get the idea.
I still find it really weird that Versant is allowed to keep/license the CNBC name, but not MSNBC.
As for the Versant name, itâs not anywhere near as bad Tribune renaming itself Tronc.
Because CNBC just happens to have NBC in it.
Surprised no one has brought it up, probably because there are many CNBCs in the world, running the risk of foul play with them.
Thereâs only one MSNBC.
MENBC is political CNBC lessso. Thatâs why.
True, how does this deal affect those?
It wouldnât. All CNBC affiliates would simply adopt the new branding if they chose to continue carrying ex-CNBC programs or producing localized versions of branded slots such as Squawk Box.
And @News727 is also mistaken regarding MSNBC â Canada previously had an MSNBC Canada feed.
Previously
MS Now shouldâve been just rebadged as Sky News US in line with their UK sister news channel
as stated in the other thread, that doesnât work, as Sky is the one flogging it off.
MSNBC becomes MS NOW on November 15, with the Versant split now completed.
