Im pretty sure Early Today really only airs in NYC and selected NBC O&O markets. Most affiliates run local bulletins up to today.
Today only just updated in July last year, so unlikely they’d refresh again so fast. I preferred their angled package from before that though.

Like Early Today at 3am and Local New at 4am. It doesn’t lead into Today for the most part.

Yeah, it’s a very strange set-up. It’s a business news channel during the day, and an entertainment channel at night (that’s what the ‘e’ stands for).
Nothing I’ve wanted more than to watch The Simpsons with a finance ticker at the bottom of the screen
not quite a business ticker, but i predicted some form of setup like this back in 2018!
