It’s been like that for years. I’ve always found it odd. They should just put the today logo there.

Noticed Today now starts with Savannah and Hoda welcoming the audience and a ‘This is Today’ before going into the headlines.

Reaso also used to sometimes say “but first this is Sunrise on Seven” when throwing to an ad break. Which he adopted from NBC Today’s Gumble/Couric/Lauer. Quite an American turn of phrase.
