Well you don’t need no credit card to ride that particular train- just tune to WS and you’ll hear it soon enough!

Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax (Come Fighting)

Currently played at least once every day on Mix 106.3 (yes I know they’re locally-controlled so some new programmer must like that song a lot!). And it sounds like it’s already worn-out.

Gloria / Laura Branigan. I hear it basically every day on either Smooth, Easy Hits, 97.3 80s, Absolute 80s, even 4KQ and Breeze. Love it very time.

“Head Over Heels” by Tears For Fears is another one for me, never get tired of hearing it.

NOISEWORKS - “Take Me Back” / “No Lies” / “Touch”
According to commercial radio, these are the only three songs they ever released. I still enjoy hearing them though.

THE BABYS - “Isn’t It Time”
This used to be flogged to death by WS before they became an 80s / 90s station. Still a great song.

RICHARD MARX - “Hazard”
Good, intelligent 90s pop.

I don’t hear that one much but “Every Time I Think Of You” stil gets reasonable airplay and is still a good listen.

I’ve wondered whether John Waite from The Babys deliberately used that song title as the opening lyric in his first solo hit “Missing You”.

I wouldn’t have called this one over flogged myself, but agree it’s a great tune that I always keep on to the end

True on commercial FM but it does get a lot of airplay on DAB - 97.3 80s and Triple M GHD. I even heard it this morning.

Yes the Whitney song I hear just about every day! Still love it every time.

You don’t want just the crescent, then?

No way!

Alan Jones using it as his theme music has made it an instant “station changer” for me.

Was it something that he said, or his voice in your head?
