I was surprised that Chris and Cookie struggled in tonight’s episode, having just won the Coles instore challenge and enjoying immunity.
The promo says the highest instant restaurant score in MKR history would be achieved in next round. This suggests one team would score higher than 98 points (set by Eva and Debra in season 6). In the first IR round, Gianni and Zana scored 97 points, followed by Luciano and Martino on 95, and Anna and Jordan on 94.
I was watching as it was posted. Do you think I just made the timing up?
I didn’t say you were making it up. Was just wondering if there were more ads in WA considering they didn’t have the Swimming Championships to get to.
Why would you be reading this at 9pm Perth time? I deliberately held the media release until that time even though Seven sent it through 2 hours earlier.
When you’re trading on your written word - of course it all matters.
Because one thing I appreciate anout this forum is that it’s very good with spoilers etc. There are so many freakin ads I have to keep busy. And Twitter always gives the results away.
It’s all good. Just shocked me that it came up just as they were about announce the evictee.
Anyway. Still happy Lauren survived
If you were browsing these boards during the show you clearly can’t have been paying much attention to it anyway. I also don’t know why you would click into an MKR topic knowing you are in Perth which is 2 hours behind and likelihood of discussion of the episode. Does not make sense.
Re-read my last post. There was actually no need for your question.
No spoiler intended. But I was rolling my eyes at the tears from Jordan thank you Lauren for saying exactly what I was thinking “I cry on the inside”.
I find there are quite a few annoying contestants. Maybe i just like mean people but i cannot stand Jordan and his mum or the brother and sister (dont even know their names).
Agree 100% on Anna and Jordan. So so annoying.
Tasia and Gracia cooked pretty well in the first ultimate instant restaurant tonight, and richly deserved their score of 85 out of 100. The promo last night said one team would score the highest instant restaurant score during this round. The sisters’ 85 points was the highest score in the ultimate IR round so far, so there is still a chance it would be broken later. When I made my prediction last night I forgot there were only five teams in this round therefore the maximum score each team could get was 100 points.
I think Pete and Manu were generous in giving 10s to half of the dishes Tasia and Gracia made, no wonder Lauren was jealous.
(For those who were wondering, Tasia and Gracia first drove to Coles at The Pines shopping centre in Doncaster East before travelling down south to Box Hill Central to buy more ingredients)
Thanks! I do like to know whereabouts they were.
Lauren kept going on about how “they’ve sent 3 teams packing in sudden death”, but I thought to myself, if they had been more consistent like the others, they wouldn’t have ended up in sudden death cook-offs so often! I hope their inconsistency costs them their place soon. They should be next to go.
She said it once
It’s just that it was replayed twice so it seemed like she kept saying it over and over again. ![]()
The filming for MKR must have wrapped up before Christmas last year?
Just saying, because I noticed on MKR last night in the Ultimate Instant Restaurant round when Tasia and Gracia were at Coles the meat was shown with the words “Best Before 25/11/2015” on the top of it.
I didn’t see the meat label, but I noticed decorations at Coles with the words “wishing you a Merry Christmas”.
Since season 2, filming of MKR has been starting in July (so it must be hard for contestants to wear summer clothing when everyone else wears warm clothes - except when the instant restaurant takes place in Queensland or WA) and finishes in December, although I remember a season’s grand final took place in early January.
Either that or contestants were VERY ill the next day!
There have been many examples of blatant plagiarism, for example, by journalists on matters far more important than a review of a cafe, ffs, and they weren’t sacked. One rule for them and another for Chloe & Kelly.
