in relation to the song “SNAP” by Rosa Linn…

Like most songs, it only hit the airwaves in Australia a few months after it was first released (mid-March 2022). While most radio stations started playing it from at least the start of August that year, I didn’t pay any close attention to it until mid-September.

These days it has disappeared from the airwaves and I fear Rosa will end up being a one-hit wonder.

Apparently she paid $360 mil to buy back the rights.. given she has a fortune of $1.6 billion, she’d have plenty of money left over to buy a few TDK cassette tapes to back them up.. after all, they’d do amazing things to her system.

So no more “Taylor’s versions”. Good.

She’ll probably still re-record them and call them (insert year) version or something to suck a few more dollars out of her fans.

Like those kids books where your name could be inserted into the story?

Style (the original version) is one of my favourite songs on the past few years, maybe she can do a version with my name in the sobg?

About the only song where your name would fit is ‘La Bamba’ (in place of ‘Soy Capitan’.)

Mimi Webb has announced her sophomore album, to be released on September 12 (100 days from now).
