Ava Max has addressed the recent issue about content from her upcoming second album, “Diamonds & Dancefloors”, being leaked online. She has said she and her team are doing their best to bring them down.

Shouldn’t be much of an issue given she seems to have one song and melody with different lyrics.

No surprise that Taylor Swift’s latest album Midnights dominated the Australia charts this week.

As a tribute to rock 'n roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis, who died of natural causes recently, here’s a trailer for the 1989 film “Great Balls of Fire”, starring Dennis Quaid, although it may be off-topic.

That’s the problem with streaming and how its broken music charts given songs get many millions more streams now then they did when you had to buy the actual singles.

Ava Max will drop a new song titled “Weapons” next week. It will be the third single off her soon-to-be-released album “Diamonds and Dancefloors”.

Sam Fischer’s newest single “Carry It Well” drops this Friday. He performed the song while opening for Mimi Webb in Australia and New Zealand recently.

As mentioned in this thread before, the UK now limits it to three tracks from any album.

Some random music history here.

In June 2009 The Script released a song called “Before the Worst”, which tanked in the UK and Ireland charts.

However, it became a top ten hit in Australia, partially because they performed it at that year’s NRL Grand Final during their visit to the country at the time that it started to play on the radio.

It is interesting how a lot of songs do really well in some countries, but badly in others.

Also, while “We Cry” was first sent to Australian radio in September 2008, it wasn’t until May 2009 that it reached its peak on the Australian music charts, coming in at #82. By this point, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven” had already charted in the top 50 (the latter peaked at #3 in the week beginning May 31, 2009).
