Nine: Saturday 1 May 08:30 pm Rocketman (2019)
These promos were still ingested in Seven’s broadcast system as at last Wednesday night (7flix), of course pulled from schedule.
Possibly confirms Seven were still unsure as to their plans for Prince Philip’s funeral last night, even by mid-week?
Alita Battle Angel FTA premiere
Maleficent
Nine - Saturday 8 May at 08:30 pm Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
First one to be rescheduled after the Saturdays with Prince Philip coverage
Seven have got rights back, if it’s another one-off package from Sony, might have got digital rights for 7Plus too (as seen recently with a string of titles from them)
I don’t think this counts Spider-Verse or MCU Spider-Man films.
It’ll just be the copies they have already, starting with the Tobey Maguire original from 2002 and in order from there (SM2, SM3, TASM and TASM2).
This thread needs to be renamed ‘Movies on Channel 7’.

Cynic did a big post just last week with Downton Abbey which premiered on Nine.
I’d suggest at the moment, it’s probably because Seven have aired a number number FTA premieres in recent weeks (whether they’ve actually gone to air or not), but there’s even very little on Nine. And 10 don’t air many at all. I think 10 Shake just do a generic promo for the timeslot.
And your problem?
There’s plenty of mentions of movies on Nine/10/ABC as well.
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga - SBS Friday 14 May at 8:30pm.
That’s a short window between streaming and FTA given it debuted on Netflix nearly 12 months ago. Looking forward to this movie.
SBS Viceland running The Fifth Element back to back to back to back to back tomorrow starting from 12pm. Because it’s 5/5.
Again? Honestly that’s just ridiculous.
Again? It hasn’t happened for a whole a year, and a whole year before that. Once a year on a multi-channel…
