In The Line Of Fire (1993) Starring Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich And Rene Russo Is On Seven Tonight At 8:30PM.
A terrific film, one of my all time favourites (have the DVD somewhere), recommended. Look out for the great Ennio Morricone’s spine-tingling musical score, especially at the climactic ending. Rather current too given both recent events with Trump and The Day of the Jackal on streaming. Was a box office hit and well received, considered a modern classic today, Malkovich’s performance is brilliant, also one of Castle Rock’s (Seinfeld, A Few Good Men) last releases by Sony/Columbia before ownership by Warners.

Speaking of which
No Home Alone or Die Hard etc this Christmas?
I’d even wondered if Nine might pick up these rights, as they’d been airing some Fox titles recently. Maybe too expensive or Disney made unavailable. Seven had been airing them.
I know TTS aired on 9Go! and Nickelodeon in Australia, has that “reality television-related” movie been screened each year on Aussie TV since 1999?
Didn’t In The Line Of Fire Air On Nine And Ten As Well?
This Friday, 9Gem are airing the 1976 film Nickelodeon at 3pm. If only there was another FTA that can air this film…
And coming soon: Se7en on Nine at 10
Like SBS, some network should do a Tarantino marathon.
A must see for film buffs on SBS Viceland. 3 part series.
1982: The Greatest Geek Year Ever

And not on Christmas Day instead of two Graham Nortons since the NBL isn’t on.

Very poor tonight not one Christmas movie on FTA, 4 days before Christmas.

Friday 3 January 7:00pm 7Flix

Once again, 9Gem not continuing past Die Another Day for the Bond marathon, with Casino Royale not programmed tonight or any date soon.
Perhaps they’re saving for the main channel and in survey, which they have resumed previously sometimes in February or March. The Daniel Craig rights could also be in a separate package and more expensive, who knows.
