Antonelli now leads George Russell (who came fourth) by 20 points in the Drivers Championship standings.
Lando Norris finished second and Oscar Piastri third in the race. They are now 4th and 6th respectively in the Drivers Championship.

Reports emerging in the Spanish press over the recent Catalunya Grand Prix weekend had Moto2 rider Izan Guevara, already riding for Pramac in its intermediate-class team, stepping in beside Miller’s teammate Toprak Razgatlioglu for 2027, with Yamaha’s factory team changing its line-up completely to campaign 2024 world champion Jorge Martin and fast-rising sophomore Ai Ogura (both currently with Aprilia) for the first season of the 850cc regulation revolution.

Kyle Busch has sadly passed away at the age of 41 after a severe battle with illness.
Busch was named as one of the successful and decorated drivers in NASCAR history; a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion (2015, 2019) and holds the all-time record for the most victories across NASCAR’s three national touring series.
He won the Ecosave 200 race only last weekend and said in a post race interview “Because you never know when the last one is”.
Busch is survived by his parents, his wife Samantha, and their two children, Brexton and Lennix.

Kimi Antonelli wins his fourth race win in a row in Canada.
Lewis Hamilton has his best career result for Ferrari since joining the team in 2025 at P2; Verstappen gets his first podium of the year at P3.
Not a good race for both McLarens as Piastri misses out on a point (P11) and Norris (DNF).
Best part was Russell imploding after he had a power unit issue and retired. He’s such a baby.
McLaren only have themselves to blame. They started with the wrong strategy then it got worse from there.
He’s the first driver ever in F1 to win his first four grand prix wins consecutively (China, Japan, Miami, Canada)
