It all comes down to “Decider in the Desert”. Coverage starts Sunday 10.30pm AEDT, right after 4th night of the Ashes.

NOR 408, VER 396, PIA 392.

“We’ll fight till the end”, as heard on Verstappen radio after crossing the finish line.

Looking at you, Sky. You FTA’d 2021 with 2 drivers in contention, will you do the same with 3?

McLaren are an absolute basket case. If I was as shit at my job as Stella and Brown I’d have been out on my arse a long time ago.

An Oscar win would be delightful of course but I’ll gladly take Max over Nando Lorris every day of the week. Entitled English prick.

Stella admitted post race they didn’t double stack during the safety car on lap 7 because it would’ve disadvantaged Norris. So they fuck up both drivers race instead. Piastri was pretty much perfect all weekend until the strategy fucked his race and any chance at the championship. McLaren are fucked.

If Oscar can’t win next weekend then I hope Max wins to claim his 5th championship and really fucks over McLaren

I just wish they’d be honest and say that “Papaya Rules” is just a thing to favour Lando over Oscar. Their decisions are too calculated to be strategy mistakes - they’re being made with a particular outcome in mind.

Max winning the WDC will be a massive own goal for McLaren

I wonder how Ford feels that their championship winning driver is driving a Toyota next year…and how GM feels about their winning works team driving a Ford.

I think the biggest miss of the Supercars season is that the driver who has basically dominated the year finishes 3rd because we seemingly can’t have dead rubbers in terms of the championship fight.

The whole implementation of the finals series was a mess. Just because NASCAR does it and screws that up, doesn’t mean we have to do it.

What was wrong with a simple championship ladder and whoever was on top at the end wins it. It worked just fine for years.

With you 100%. It’s a stupid way to end a series, any series. Why can’t the best driver/team win over an entire season?

Sail GP is the same, makes a mockery of the whole thing. You may as well just have the one event and be done with it.

Exactly. Yes, it can suck that one team and/or one driver can dominate an entire season and have it over with a few rounds to go, but that’s the way it goes. We survived for years with that format. Other sports may have a finals series but that’s the way they’ve operated for years. You don’t have to go down that route.

What the helly is crashapinto doing to manage to get another year.

All he’s done is crash or get P18-20 all year since replacing doohan, surely giving another driver the seat would be the go here.

I would hope something insane happens this weekend so Oscar can get the win, but if he doesn’t let’s hope Max goes and gets WDC5.

Colapinto brings money.

Arthur Leclerc, will join in Lewis Hamilton’s seat and joins his brother Charles in Abu Dhabi FP1.

Here are the 9 rookies will be taking through FP1. Piastri will be resting, leaving O’Ward joining in his car.

Just watching Pre FP2 coverage and Ted Kravitz is coping hard saying Oscar should assist Lando by using team orders to give Lando the WDC.

I’d love for Fox/Kayo to do some local coverage with a lot more interest/accessibility in F1 that caters to us (I’d love some pro Oscar bias).

Knowing their track record in providing int’l feeds, just give us Apple TV feed as an option next year.
