Monday delivered some great results for several programs including The Floor that was an easy winner at 7.30pm again. Though down on the previous Monday results, it was the only entertainment show to average over one million. Following, 100% Footy was seen in NRL territory with 204k to make the top 30 while Footy Classified in the AFL states missed out.

Last night the Farmers looking for wives were surprised with a collection of new suitors. That saw the audience edged lower to 823k while 9-1-1: Lone Star that followed was steady on 335k.

ABC’s Monday lineup again performed very well. Four Corners made the top ten, up +340k on the previous week and a 2025 high. Media Watch was next best also on a year high and up +100k to 785k. Earlier Australian Story had 730k while Q+A was down this week but still did well to average 377k.

Working Dog delivered again as 10’s Monday got a boost with the return of Have You Been Paying Attention? for its thirteenth season with 822k. That compared to 2024 when 845k tuned in for the season premiere. That helped the Taskmaster Australia encore that followed to get 273k (the original had 346k on Thursday) while earlier MasterChef had its best rating since the season launch. The result saw 10 with its second best result of the year including second in key demo groups.

Seven News had a +100k win at 6pm while 10 News was over 400k for the second Monday in a row. Tipping Point hit an amazing 903k at 5pm to beat The (New) Chase by +200k. That is 40k higher than the previous record rating for Tipping Point set in July last year.

The return of HYBPA did very well and lifted 10’s shares.

Huge interest in the expose into the dominance of Bunnings Warehouse. Expect to hear more on this in the next few months.

  • The Floor was the No. 1 entertainment program with Total People and all key demographics across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.080 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.060 million and a BVOD audience of 101,000.

  • 9News was the No.1 program and No.1 news bulletin with People 25-54, GS18+ and Total People across the 5 City Metro. In Perth, 9News was the No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39 with a Total TV Audience of 111,000 - just 8,000 viewers behind its competitor and its highest rating bulletin since August last year. The combined national bulletins claimed a National Total TV Reach of 2.181 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.400 million (up 12.0% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 131,000 was up 52.3% on the same night last year.

  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.726 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.170 million - up 16.9% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 101,000 - up 46.4% year-on-year.

  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demographics across Australia and in all five metro capital cities. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.626 million and a Total TV National Audience of 903,000 (up 18.7% on the same day last year). This marks the highest rating episode of Tipping Point of all time. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 77,000 - up a massive 71.1% year-on-year.

  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne. It claimed a National Total TV Reach of 762,000, a Total TV National Audience of 315,000 and a BVOD audience of 44,000 - up 37.5% year-on-year.

  • The 9Network was the No. 1 Network across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54, GS18+ and Total People.

What an incredible result for Nine Perth.
Only a matter of timing before Seven start to consistently lose to their competition.
(Perhaps not this year, but if this trend continues Seven should be very scared)

Australia welcomed back Have You Been Paying Attention? in strong numbers, reaching 1.35 million viewers, demonstrating the nation’s enduring appetite for the comedy hit. Have You Been Paying Attention? commanded its 8.40pm timeslot with an impressive 36% share in total people and a dominant 45.7% share in 25 to 54s.

Just wondering with regards to demos, how does 10 get second place in the demos and 1st for people in people aged 16-39 in TV alone, but comes third for the night overall?

That’s how demos work :smiley: More of the younger audience watch 10.

Ohh so although more younger people watch 10, the older demographics (not listed as 16-39 and 25-54) watching television make up that share.
