Meet Your Member - yeah. I think would be a good idea on a Saturday after the 10 News First.
The Saturday Edition of the Project - I think they would be based in Melbourne where they will sum up the Best parts from Mon-Fri.

I was thinking Ten could (if CBS were willing to invest the money) do state based editions across Australia focusing on state political issues (WIN TV could screen something like Bondi Rescue if they didnt film a Tasmanian edition). Possibly even have a section where they have questions from viewers (similar approach to ABC’s Q&A but without studio audience)

Here is how the daytime/early evening schedule is broken down in the US

Time Range (ET) Time Slot Type(s) of daytime programming normally aired
6:00am - 9:00am Early morning Local and network morning news programs
9:00am - 11:00am Mid-morning Game shows, talk shows, court shows, newsmagazines, syndicated programming

Not sure if a WA show would do well in Melbourne.

I doubt it would work. Perhaps Nine could rename that Destination Australia (possibly doing local editions in Vic/Tas, SA and WA)

No I wouldnt screen that post 6am. I would screen something like an encore of 60 Minutes or 20/20 at 6am on Sunday morning and screen the other on Monday morning at 4am

A schedule for 9 for 2020:

End of January- End of March (9 Weeks)
7:30 Slot: MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT

April - Middle May (6 Weeks)
7:30 Slot: Honeymoon Island

Middle May - Middle June (4 Weeks)
7:30 Slot: Ninja Warrior

Middle June - August (8 Weeks)
7:30 Slot: The Voice/Lego Masters

August - Middle October (13 Weeks)
7:30 Slot: The Block

Middle October - December (6 Weeks)
7:30 Slot: Love Island

Having Ninja Warrior in May? What a dumb decision from Nine in 2020.
I’d switch with The voice/LEGO masters in May followed by Ninja Warrior. And Tokyo 2020 Olympics will clash with The block is not gonna work.
For 10
Masterchef clashing with Olympics Will be a dumb decision by 10. I would say move start it after Easter.
I do not want bledisloe cup to clash against the Olympics. Last time, the wallabies v all blacks match overlapped with day 15 of rio 2016 and this saw 10 ranked 4th in its 7:30pm timeslot.

The organisers of the Rugby Championship may think otherwise. Also there are many sports that clash with the Olympics e.g. Formula One and US PGA Tour.

Well its not from Nine it is from me. I put it there simply because I thought Ninja would benefit from a stronger lineup as its lead in. Whereas I think Lego Masters might be able to bolster The Voice. Also I think The Voice will be quite weak (perhaps it shouldn’t even be left out and replaced with another format) so why waste a strong audience (Honeymoon Island) for it?

If you add up the weeks you will notice it doesn’t equate to the actual amount of ratings weeks so the show will obviously break for that or start after.

I actually do not agree. 10 should not be stopping for the Olympics.

I feel that the final weeks of Masterchef will clash with Olympics as well as the block.

So?

It may and well be a lopsided prime time with 7 network winning over 9 and 10 by a percentage thanks to multi channels

I have to agree, people dont like stop/starts with their viewing. So 10 and 9 should maintain their usual scheduling to a large degree, noting not everyone likes all of the sports involved in the Olympics. Noting reality TV encores, much to my personal dislike, are screened the following day at around 1pm on 10 and 9, which gives viewers another opportunity to watch. Many people have PVRs these days so can catch up on these shows later anyway.

I have to ask those that oppose 10 and 9 continuing their normal schedule during the Olympics, how many of you have 2 weeks off each time the Olympics comes around - i daresay not many
