I agree with you Bold statement. But you’re Peach idea I do not. I think 10 need to look at providing Peach with New content. This is what I would do:

  • Big Brother *15 Week Run.
  • The Gay Bachelor
  • Bachelor Pad
  • Ex on the Beach
  • Another shot at an Australian version of Geordie Shore (done properly this time)
  • A new entertainment tonight program hosted by Angela Bishop 5 nights a week.
  • Game shows from the US or UK.

I would even considering putting Bachelor in Paradise as a Peach exclusive when 10 have enough content on their main channel.

In terms of where I would air them. I would probably put the show on at 6:30 every night then with a replay at 8:30/9:00 to stay away from the stripped reality on 10.

Given the recent axings of Family Feud and Pointless, perhaps Ten could try the post-7:30pm strategy. Select 4 game shows and run them all year round, 13 weeks (65 episodes each).

If reports are right, Ten has the rights to Celebrity Name Game, Ten previously had the rights to Family Feud, so if Ten looked at 2 different formats to show as the other 2 game shows (perhaps 2 of the following - Perfect Match, Sale Of The Century, Wheel Of Fortune, Jeopardy, Have A Go, Press Your Luck). Given the main channel is primarily programmed nationally, there is no need for showing re-runs in December/January… retain first run programming all year round until at least 9:30pm each night

This would hopefully reduce viewer fatigue.

I know this was almost 30 years ago (Melbourne TV Listings: Saturday, November 11, 1989), but I am still puzzled as to why Ten doesnt do like Nine did with MTV and screen on Friday and Saturday night on 10Peach. They could screen encores of it at 9am on Saturday and Sunday mornings (in a similar slot to that occupied by Video Hits)

I wouldnt keep Bold And The Beautiful and evening game show on the main channel. This would be even more the case if the game show moved to 10Peach and Ten was to launch a 2 and half hours news/current affairs fest between 5pm and 7:30pm.

The alternative to news would be a 1 hour program that features news updates and either music (like on the radio) or a mix of music and light entertainments (possibly even inserts from features on other network 10 entertainment/infotainment programs). Something relatively cheap, but not encores.

Correct, @jb76 copied @Super_SC’a schedule with some changes and clearly forgot to remove that section when they changed the proposed time.
