They need a scientifically/forensically calculated cross-section of audience members to get decent insights into what different viewers think. Relying on people we know or internet sites, would not give an accurate reflection of tv viewer needs and wants, or insights IMO

My proposed variations to Ten and its secondary channels with possible WIN regional variations. I know many may criticise it for some of the changes, but I have taken some things into account including the inevitability of infomercials screening during the day on all secondary channels and the need to remain competitive. If Ten can offer alternatives to whats on offer in all sections of the schedule then people may start taking the network serious again. I have just listed some short term options - longer term options may be to introduce and Australian version of Face The Nation and morning news offerings 7 days a week. This is just my starting point

I have a suggestion for you… why don’t you take over from Beverley??? @turdall I don’t think you could do any worse
Ten really do need to change things up going into the start of 2019. I don’t believe relying on I’m a Celebrity to Start the year is the way to go.
Here is what I would do …
Mornings
Weekdays
6:00 Morning Dose with Jeremy Fernandes (poach him), Jamila Rizvi and Sarah Harris. Fast paced. Social Media driven. Based on US program of the same name.
8:30 Studio 10 with Natasha Belling replacing Sarah Harris.
11:00 Ten Morning News
Weekends
7:00 Sports Today with Matt White (exact replica of current Sports Tonight). 2 hours each morning.
Weeknights
5:00 Ten News at Five – National Edition. High profile anchor.
5:30 Pointless new timeslot
6:00 Ten Evening News – Local Editions
6:30 Inside Edition. New nightly current affairs program. Fronted by Lisa Wilkinson.
Contributors include Waleed Aly, Hamish McDonald, Jeremy Fernandes, Hugh Riminton. Peter Van Onselen. Political editor – David Speers (poach him).
10:00 Up late with Shaun Micallef. Hire the chaser boys, and team behind LLC to produce content. Model of US late shows.
10:30 / 10:45 Ten Late News
Anchor Reality Program
Changing rooms. Loosely based off The Renovators and previous program of the same name.
Sunday
6:30 Panorama. Weekly current affairs program.
7:30 Wanted. Crime investigation program. Re-enactments ala Crime Investigation Australia and Forensic Investigators.
8:30 My Life is Murder. New Australian Drama.
9:30 Killing Eve (BBC America Drama)
Monday
7:00 Changing Rooms
8:00 Drunk History
9:00 Good News Week THEN Have You Been Paying Attention
Tuesday
7:00 Changing Rooms
8:00 Dancing with the Stars
9:30 How to Stay Married
Wednesday
7:00 Changing Rooms
8:00 Dave
9:00 As Yet Untitled Drama about 5 friends buying a house together
Thursday
7:00 Changing Rooms
8:00 Disgrace!
8:30 Taboo
9:00 Gogglebox
Friday
7:00 Changing Rooms – MasterClass
8:00 The Living Room
9:00 The Graham Norton Show
Saturday
6:30 Secret Life of 4 and 5 Year Olds THEN Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader
7:30 Bring Back …. Saturday Night.
What is changing rooms?
Reality program. Loosely based off the existing Changing Rooms format with a little drama thrown in for good measure ala The Block / House Rules. Elements of The Renovators could also be bought in.
Must say one of the better mock schedules I’ve seen. Well done.
I was thinking that Game of Games might be Ten’s Summer Sunday to Thursday 7:30pm program - airing possibly in 2 hour installments
Perhaps Ten could air a weeknight sports based show at 7pm with a news update at the start (maybe about 5 minutes) and then air your 7pm scheduled shows at 7:30pm
I really like aspects of your schedule and really like the idea of starting programs at 8pm. I do, however, question why you would remove a program like The Project which has a huge online presence and identity for a new show basically doing the same thing? To change that and gain that presence takes years. With that said I really like the sound of Inside Edition and think this would be something perfect for Lisa Wilkinson.
Has Sports Tonight not taught you there is no interest?
Doubt that will happen.
All I am saying is that you need to deliver something different if you are going to steer away from what is a somewhat successful product such as The Project. I would retain The Project is some form. Yes, something like Inside Edition for Lisa Wilkinson could be something that suits the present, but how would the audience receive such a program given what history has told us. When people say something won’t work, they point to history - such as a half hour news program at 6pm or 6:30pm, whereas it was on Nine and Seven. If we consider what happened to the short-lived Seven News hour in Melbourne in 1987. You need to keep the audience in familiar territory - look at how The Block was at one point starting at 7pm weeknights and now it starts at 7:30pm. People are used to nightly schedules starting at 7:30pm weeknights and 6:30pm on weekends - the only exception to the rule is special events and sporting events
I feel people will be adverse to such a radical move. keep it the same or try something different to what is on offer.
Knowing Ten management, I would not dismiss that as yet - especially with the constant suggestion of a slated Summer program
4pm Cooking Shows
4.30pm Judge Judy
5pm Bold and Beatiful
5.30pm Pointless
6pm Ten News at Six (local)
7pm The Project
7.30pm Reality tentpoles
8.30pm reality cont or dramas and comedy ie HYBPA
9.30pm Ten News at 9.30 (local)
10.30pm Drama repeats
11.30pm The Project replay
12.00am Late Show
Great schedule, except I would have News At Five in addition to News at Six (both half hours) and have The Project at 6:30.
An updated mock WIN schedule.
WIN Daytime:
WIN Evenings:
WIN News extended to 45 minutes including national stories cut from Ten/Sky. The stories should be able to be used across multiple markets to make this more viable. First section of low-rating The Project cut out. It isn’t a strong enough program, in its current form, to be running for 60 minutes in prime-time. Once again, moving the full edition encores of The Project to late nights around 10.30pm on WIN ONE.
No more Pointless at 6pm weeknights on WIN ELEVEN, now simulcasting Ten’s ELEVEN schedule in this timeslot.
Entertainment Tonight moved to WIN ELEVEN, maybe at 3pm after DOOL/Y&TR.
