To be at the helm of a show that brings about life-changing moments and to be able to guide contestants on their journey to a potential million-dollar win is such a privilege.

They will can DOND and keep 10N+ going?

I mean, neither rate high but like…

We start off hot in the revamped money tree.

Probably it will look something like this.

I wonder if 10 will use the same set as nine used for Eddie Mcguire’s version

Absolutely not. The logo tells me Olga style will be followed.

Most countries using it has a standardized set that looks roughly like this.

The ones who don’t follow this are usually on the cheap. Given 10 already announcing $1,000 prize on the first question, I wouldn’t put it in that category.

Currently it doesn’t look good for Deal.

Usually, production for 2026 block of episodes would be booked in for filming from September / October.

I would be absolutely horrified if 10 persists with 10 News + past this year.

I think they will do 6pm Hotseat (Hour-Format, with Fast Fingers Round), with Primetime Begining at 7.

If 10news+ remains, it will be Weekly, Post-Reality.

sigh… I was enjoying DOND.
Onto the heap with Family Feud I guess.

Unless 10 have more coming at Upfronts with a Millionaire Hotseat/DOND gameshow hour coming

Family Feud, Pointless, Celebrity Name Game were in that timeslot.

Left of field choice, media rumours were correct. Good luck to her and them. She is a beloved Australian actress, always down to earth.

just hope they use the proper WWTBAM music this time around, and not that horrid custom music they made for Hotseat…

Unlikely. They’re trying to differentiate between the two versions. Other Hotseat versions also use this theme rather than the original.

More like impossible. Basically take it or leave it.

Could DonD go at 4pm or4:30pm before the News @ 5 ? they have a slot to fill with Neighbours now finishing (unless they get rebooted again)

Why couldn’t they just do Deal or No Deal 6:30 Hot Seat 7:00?

that’s fair too … I was thinking HS was an hour but they could do the shorter format without Fast Fingers

With the HotSeat format the first prize is somewhat irrelevant. I suspect they’ll keep $250k as the second step as that helps keeps the payout downs, so probably take out the $100k/500k and add $75k and $125k.

Quite surprised really they’d raise the default prize most ended up with when they got the final question wrong but wonder if the floating safety net format could be introduced - although again that would increase the daily payouts, something you’d think they’d want to avoid.

If they do keep the Fastest Finger first portion always felt it made more sense for that to determine which seat you took rather than just give a bonus lifeline.

future of Deal or No Deal apparently very uncertain due to Hot Seat.

Why is it impossible for 10 to commission a 6 month run of Hot Seat and a 6 month run of Deal? Wouldn’t that lead to greater variety in the timeslot without compromising on consistency?

It’s 10. Consistency is not a word in the dictionary there.
