I don’t feel like Celia works as a host tbh, she’s great on Utopia and HYBPA but TGYH was a bit hit or miss

I have a feeling that the new host will be revealed via News Corp papers this Sunday, with filming scheduled to commence next Wednesday (September 24). All three commercial networks have used the tried and true method of News Corp Sunday titles to announce new shows and/or new hosts.

If Deal Or No Deal is only screening 3 new episodes a week, could this be replacing it? If so, could it be Grant Denyer will host the new show?
I know rumours indicate its a female, but look at all the inaccurate rumours abd speculation surrounding 10 News+

they might well be right but I wouldn’t put too much chop into a so-called “well-placed” source which could well be some rando just making stuff up.
Also, a gossip magazine is not necessarily the most credible journal of record.

Should note Blackbox also indicated “prominent Aussie female actor”. Herald Sun randomly did an article on Gibney for whatever reason. So that’s three sources.
Then there’s another question: If men were in the race, why have no names been rumored yet? We only heard Gibney and Keller.
You’d think with these kinds of magazines and sources, they’ll be happily leaking out a couple if there were.
Everything simply adds up.

A couple of other names were thrown on this forum as well because of the “actor” clue.
Whether that holds up or not is a different story.
Based in the vagueness of that, it could theoretically be someone like Chris Bath. My thoughts about Grant Denyer is based on the possibility that Deal Or No Deal is being axed given its down to 3 new episodes per week and the if it is being axed, Grant Denyer has been used on a number of Channel Ten game shows - unless there is another vehicle they have planned for him. He seems to be one of Tens most recycled talents

I’ve been enjoying DOND… it’s got more life that Millionaire IMO.
One person who it won’t be is Jimmy Kimmel… it will be interesting to see if Millionaire on ABC (US) needs a new host as well…
This is why I am hoping Ten aren’t axing it, but only screening 3 new episodes a week could be a sign of it being axed
Or they’re just stretching out taped episodes for the rest of the year?
