AFAIK, 6iX’s FM translators are in stereo.
All Sydney commercial AM stations are omni directional 5kW (except 2GB at 6kW), the old 2WS AM is directional, but it’s not commercial now 2RPH have it.
2GB had an increase to 6kW to allow for the physical difference in mast height (thus electrical wavelength), when they moved from their own site/mast, to be combined at the 2KY site on the 2KY mast. The power increase also helps with the losses through the combiner system (that they didn’t have on their own mast).
I’m not sure why 2CH & 2KY didn’t get a small increase in power with the site changes? Having said that though, the mast height suits both 2KY & 2CH better than 2GB, & both 2KY & 2CH were combined before with other stations anyway.
