Interesting to note the 46,000 cumulative audience rise (404k to 450k | +11%) for the KJ Show in Melbourne. Seems like it’s an indication that sampling has begun. You’d have thought it would happen earlier, but the cumulative figures for last year never reflected any meaningful sampling.
Networking/axing of local shifts in Brisbane (KIIS97.3 workdays) and Adelaide (Triple M Drive) didn’t seem to have had any impact in this survey.
A shame KIIS97.3 breakfast dipped ever so slightly. Let’s hope ARN don’t use this to their advantage. They’re still significantly out-performing K&J on KIIS101.1. So let’s not spread the networking any further until ARN can sort out KIIS101.1 breakfast.
Good start for the new Triple M breakfast show in Melbourne (with Mick Molloy, Nick Riewoldt, Titus O’Reily and Rosie Walton), up 1.3 from last survey when it was hosted by fill-ins.
ABC Melbourne fell in all timeslots especially in evenings. Sharnelle Vella and Bob Murphy’s new breakfast show could only manage 6.3.
Gold 104.3 enjoyed a whopping increase of 2.8 points at breakfast, while Fox and Nova each dropped one point in the same timeslot.
Incredible results for 3AW. The station has gained 5.9 points in the 7pm-12am slot (includes Money News + Denis Walter) to take it to an incredible 21.8.
The first survey for Mick in the Morning on Triple M has lifted the Breakfast share from 6.6 to 7.9.
IMO Mick Molloy is made for Triple M Melbourne. SCA should never network him. He is MMMick in MMMelbourne.
Not a good survey for the new Gold 101.7, down 1.7 with losses in all but one demo.
2GB number one in Sydney again.
Good survey for ABC stations in Brisbane esp JJJ; 4BH down 2.2.
Massive share increases for 3AW in Melbourne.
Gold1043 regains the top FM breakfast slot with a big increase. Jase and Lauren in #2.

2GB is Sydney’s No.1 station | No.1 Breakfast, Mornings & Nights
2GB is back on top as Sydney’s No.1 in 2025, according to GfK Radio 360 Survey 1. The station delivered a dominant 11.6 radio share and an impressive 33.9 commercial streaming share, further cementing its position as the go-to station for the best in news, talk, opinion and entertainment.
Ben Fordham Live is Sydney’s No.1 in Breakfast, leading both radio and live audio streaming with a remarkable 14.4 share and a 47.5 share in commercial streaming. Meanwhile, Mark Levy has celebrated his first survey in the Mornings slot with an incredible No.1 share of 13.5 in radio and 37.2 in commercial streaming.
2GB Station Manager, Greg Byrnes, said: “It’s a great start to the year for 2GB – number one in Sydney, number one in Breakfast, number one in Mornings, and that’s despite major changes across the line up.”
“Mark Levy has compared replacing Ray Hadley as like coming in for Bradman but he’s hit it out of the park in survey one. We’re all really pleased for Mark and his team, as we are for Ben who’s again the clear number one in Breakfast.
“We thank listeners who tune in everyday, and we thank the many others who have sampled and obviously like what they hear. There’s a big year ahead and Sydney can rely on 2GB for honest opinion and up to the minute news, sport and information.”
On his first survey result in Mornings, Mark Levy said: “I’m over the moon that 2GB has started the year as the number one radio station in Sydney, including in Breakfast, Mornings and Nights.”
“I want to thank each and every one of our loyal listeners for sticking with us. I’ve worked here for a while and have got to speak to so many of them over the years – I’m delighted they’re enjoying what I’m doing. It’s the start of a lot of hard work and I’m looking forward to it!”

I see no mention of Drive. Clearly Jacqui Felgate is faltering on an otherwise impeccable run on 3AW.
Stephen Beers commented specifically on Drive, right above those points.

Worth noting - was this Mark Levy’s first full survey since replacing Ray Hadley on 2GB?
Looking at the ratings in more detail, it’s interesting to note that Nova outrated Gold (as well as KIIS) in the 40-54s in both Sydney & Melbourne.
Yes. Looks like he retained Hadley’s listeners so big win for 2GB.
Not so good for Michael McLaren.
Herald Sun reports the ABC’s 4.7 per cent share of radio listeners over all timeslots was the first time the network has fallen below the 5 per cent mark in Melbourne.
