So I quick look at this thread it sounds like there has been some very creepy times here at Media Spy. Glad it has improved since those early days . I had a look at Media Spy through archive.org and yes the original media spy definetly was in… stalker like of female news presenters.
I can clearly state that out of the forum softwares used , Discourse is clearly the better one.

Does anyone know if the forums from the pre 2015 era switch over are archived anywhere? The Wayback machine and webarchives don’t have a great record of the threads.
I’m particularly interested in looking at the coverage of ‘breaking news’ events about 10 years ago, and comparing the differences to now.

In fact, I have it on good authority a lot of people in high places at networks peruse these forums. You’d be surprised. Whether they actually post is a whole different story.
