Aussie film producer David Lightfoot has died at 61 after complications from heart surgery. He had more than 30 years experience in the film industry, and produced titles such as Wolf Creek, Rogue and Never Too Late.

Ultrafilms posted a statement on its Facebook page today announcing Lightfoot’s death, and also confirmed that the company has a number of projects underway, and will continue its future slate under the direction of Lightfoot’s business partner and Co-Producer Sabella Sugar.
